If there’s anything to know about me, it’s that I’m all about a good powder highlighter. There’s something about a little (or a whole lot) of glow that makes me feel confident and radiant. With a pigmented highlighter, you need a good tool to apply it with, that’s where the E.l.f. Cosmetics Highlighting Brush comes in.
This slim brush is designed to provide precision highlighting on the cheek and brow bones (I even sweep it across my collarbone during the summertime.) It’s contoured top allows for highlighters to easily be applied to smaller areas, like the browbone. The bristles on this brush are extremely gentle and feel almost like a feather touching your skin when in contact with the skin. It picks up any type of pigment, too. I’ve used this with two of my favorite highlighters: Milani Baked Highlighter ($11) and Tom Ford Sheer Highlighting Duo ($84) and with both, the loose hairs on the brush pick up the powders with just one dip.
If you are looking for an out-of-this-world glow, simply dip the highlighting brush into the pigment and lightly spritz the brush with some setting spray or a facial mist. The addition of liquid will really make your skin beam. Did I mention this brush is also only $4? It’s also super easy to clean, meaning you’ll get way more than a couple of uses out of this steal.
You’ll find the E.l.f. Cosmetics Highlighting Brush in our September 2020 Allure Beauty Box.
