We are unsure who Knowles’s glam squad was for the night but whoever you are out there, you did an incredible job. The Queen kept the look soft glam with a glowy base, subtle highlight, bronzed eyelids, and a glossy nude lip. Her hairstylist straightened her blonde hair and parted it down the middle. She then dressed up her simple beauty look with a diamond choker.
While accepting her award, Knowles dedicated it to those protesting and fighting against systemic racism and police brutality. “I want to dedicate this award to all of my brothers out there, all of my sisters out there inspiring me, marching and fighting for change,” she said. “Your voices are being heard, and you’re proving to our ancestors that their struggles were not in vain. Now we have one more thing we need to do to to walk in our true power, and that is to vote. I’m encouraging you to continue to take action, continue to change and dismantle a racist and unequal system. We have to continue to do this together.”
Beyoncé has partnered with UNICEF to create “BeyGood 4 Burundi,” a clean water initiative in East Africa, and has launched the #IDIDMYPART initiative with her mother Tina Knowles, to encourage Houston residents to get tested for COVID-19. We hope Beyoncé inspired you to go get tested, as well, and donate to the Black Lives Matter movement or other anti-racism non-profits if you are able to do so.
